An Easy To Get To Getaway
When Dan's Great Great Grandfather travelled north from Grand Rapids in the late 1870s to found the village of LeRoy, he endured a journey of many days, today it takes just over an hour on the expressway!
Harvest Village is just about 3 hours from Detroit and is less than 4 hours from Chicago.
Once you are at Harvest Village you can easily drive to many of northern Michigan's tourist hot spots. When you've finished your activities you can escape back to the peaceful refuge of the farm. You can also relax in the knowledge that you are spending half to a third of what lodging costs at those tourist destinations.
